    Well as the title says, the client isn't working for me.
    Everytime I try to open the client, I get this white screen:

    It happens right after it says "Fetching updates - 96% (12)"

    I tried opening the other two .bat files but all I got was an exception.
    So, can anyone help me with this?

    Firstly what computer do you have? windows 7 etc. Make sure you have JRE6 or above installed and use the correct run suitable under those conditions

    Windows 7 64bit.
    Currently I've got these installed:

    I should mention that I can't play any webclients due to problems with my Java (and limited desktop clients).
    [EDIT:] I currently have no clue whether I should delete some Java versions, or install new ones. It's really frustrating.

    Try removing all your java i had a problem like this before but after uninstalling then reinstalling it worked so after uninstalled use these:
    Java JRE7
    Java JDK 7.5
    This should work Very Happy

    So, I uninstall ALL of the Java 6 (JRE6) and the Java 7 (JRE7) versions, and then only reinstall the Java JRE7 and the Java JDK 7.5? I'll try that, but 32bit or 64bit? I seem to have more problems with the 64bit version of Java 7.
    I recently removed JRE7 for 64bit computers, because I couldn't play a RSPS and I noticed it was running on that version. After I removed it, it was working on JRE6.

    Make sure to change the "jdk1.7.0_05" to your version which can be found in
    C:\Program Files\Java

    Tried for both 32 bit and 64 bit, but it didn't work.
    I guess I just have to reinstall Java. But the problem is, 64 bit or 32 bit? And Java 7, or Java 6?

    Go to Start and right click Computer, then select Properties. It should say 32-bit or 64-bit, then just download JRE 6 or 7.

    I can confirm Windows 7 does work with the current client, so those options should work fine if you have the right JRE version.

    If you have a 64-bit computer you'll need x86, otherwise you should do x64.

    Before this, I couldn't play RuneScape. Now, after I uninstalled the version that RuneScape was running on, it does work. RuneScape is running on Jre6 (x86) and before it was running on Jre7, so maybe it's Java 7 that does not work properly on my laptop. However, I haven't reinstalled Java 7, I just uninstalled all the Java 7 version. I am going to reinstall Java 7 soon and post a reply if it worked.

    [Edit:] Maybe you could make a webclient? I'm pretty sure that would solve it, if reinstalling Java 7 doesn't.
